Zombie Girl
Happy October! This is my favourite month, not only because it's my birth month, but of course, because it is also the month of Halloween ๐๐งน๐๐
To celebrate, I'll be posting 10 creepy (allegedly) true stories recounted to me by family and friends.
I'll be posting these every Saturday and Monday until Halloween.
The first story I'm sharing is a favoruite one of many paranormal encounters shared with me by a friend of mine. Please enjoy~
The following story is my friend's, who we'll call J, experience.
...
Despite a lifetime of otherworldly encounters, this one, which took place six years ago, J says, was the most recent one.
J had grown up in a house that seemed to have been a hub for paranormal activity. But, when she moved into her current house with her mom (sometime in the late 90's), there was very little activity, aside from the knocking at the front door.
Every night, they heard the knocking, but they could never see anyone through the peephole.
One night, while the knocking was happening, J, out of either curiosity or boredom, opened the door. No one was there, of course.
After that night, however, J began to notice that every time she walked past the stairs, when the sunlight shone from the bathroom, she'd catch a glimpse of someone standing at the top of the stairs.
It was only the bottom half of what appeared to have been a little girl's feet and legs, cutoff at the knees by a nightgown.
Having dealt with this sort of thing all her life, J wasn't in the least bit concerned. So this went on for a while, until the girl showed herself to J.
J was in bed one day, when she suddenly saw that same young girl in her full form sitting cross-legged on the dresser only a few feet away from the side of her bed. Only, the girl's face and body were rotting. She looked like a zombie.
The girl started laughing.
J covered herself with her blanket. She could hear other children's laughter join in, as they taunted her chanting "You can't hide from us!"
The voices and the girl soon vanished.
Since then, J hasn't experienced anything paranormal in the past six years.
